Gotland 10th Century Viking Axe

Note: these are hand-burnt and waxed in-house, they can have an approximate 1 week wait time.

This axe is based on a historical find from the island of Gotland, Sweden, which featured a distinct cross-shaped cut-out in the centre of the axe head. Our version is made of hardened high carbon steel, unpolished, keeping it's forged finish. This leads to a part-charred and waxed Ash haft; completed with sharpening to a cutting edge, and supplied with a tan leather sheath.
